The Imagination of Children is amazing and beautiful. My goal is to capture magical images with traditional and playful posing. I use props to help encourage natural play mixed with fun and silly prompts to capture genuine reactions and smiles.
No need to worry wheather or not your children will cooperate for photos. They likely will not even notice because they will be having fun.
Cinematic Light & Deep Colors
. Even the simplest, most everyday moment deserves beautiful light. I use both natural light and off-camera flash for these sessions too — but for Everyday Magic, I tend to favor a softer touch, letting the golden hour glow or gentle shade lead, so the focus stays entirely on your child's expression rather than a dramatic concept.
The result is timeless rather than trendy — the kind of portrait that looks just as beautiful in ten years as it does today.
What To Wear
Simple doesn't mean boring. For Everyday Magic sessions, I usually recommend soft solids and gentle textures over busy patterns or costumes — this keeps the focus on your child's face and personality rather than what they're wearing. A favorite outfit, a well-loved pair of shoes, even a little dress-up piece if it feels like them — that's all we need. I'll help you land on a palette that photographs beautifully and won't feel dated when you look back on it years from now.
