Hello there! I’m Kayla! I’ve been a photographer since 2010. At the beginning my Husband Tel and I did wedding photography, but as time went by he jumped full on in to his videography career and I continued to do photo sessions.

I left the wedding industry and jumped into everything photography. I have done most types of photography including Birth, Lifestyle Newborn, and Maternity sessions. I call these Special Moments because there is nothing more precious than the beginnings of family. While I love doing those types of sessions still , I love the creativity that Family and Children sessions have given me. Family is everything!

There was a span of time when my children were small that I took a break from my business, but this is where my photography took off and I dove into learning all that I could! I took thousands of pictures of my children (and still do to this day) I learned so much doing it. It is then when I discovered that my favorite photos of my children where the candid in between shots and not the everyone looking at the camera shots (which honestly can be quite stressful trying to get with toddlers and young children.)

Now 16 years later I have dialed down my style with deep moody edits and grand landscapes with family and children as my subjects to create epic and cinematic art for your amazing family to cherish forever.

In the near future I plan to release a series of photography classes aimed towards teaching parents how to achieve better photos so that you too can capture all those quite moments beautifully that only you can see.
